Pamplico is too small for McDonald's or Burger King, but we do have "Jack's". Just my opinion but I'll take a "Fat Jack Burger" over a Big Mac any day.

Old Middle School Gym

The Middle School is in a new location but this gym is still used for recreation and also serves as a voting place in elections.

Thought I would do a little church series. This is the Pamplico United Methodist Church. I was married here and my wife and children were all baptized here.

After my father died, I was going through the papers in his office that had accumulated over the years and learned that the construction company he owned built this in 1961. That was one year before I was born.

Welcome To Pamplico

Pamplico is located on the coastal plain of South Carolina, about 50 miles from Myrtle Beach. This is the "Welcome Sign" you would see if you entered town on Hwy. 51 coming from Myrtle Beach. The sign tells you that Pamplico was incorporated as a town in 1916.
